The city of Sisak was an important industrial center in the 20th century, famous for its strong tradition of crafts and industry. Industrial heritage is therefore an integral part of its history. A part of the town`s identity is the industrial heritage from which the old brewery, the oil industry formerly "Shell" - "INA Refinery" today, former beverage factory of Petar Teslić - today Segestica and the City Munjara, the first electrical plant from 1907 stand out.
